The Global Cities Education Network (GCEN) is an international learning community of education systems from North America and Asia, launched in 2012 by the Center for Global Education (CGE) at Asia Society. GCEN is intended to foster the sharing of promising approaches and to support systems with generating innovative policy and practice reforms to ensure that students develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in a global economy and society. PSA has provided evaluation support to CGE by documenting the efforts of city systems to build capacity to implement innovative reforms using improvement science approaches shared through GCEN.
